Liberia Postal Code

Liberia officially known as the Republic of Liberia is a country located on the West African coast. It is bordered by Sierra Leone on the northwest, Guinea on the north, Ivory Coast on the east, and the Atlantic Ocean on the south and southwest. Monrovia is the capital and the largest city of Liberia. The official language of the country in Liberia is English. Land Area

Liberia has a total land area of 1,11,370 km2, which comes to around a total of 43,000 mi2. The territory of Liberia is divided into 15 counties as administrative divisions, which were subdivided into 90 districts. It was further divided into Clans. The names of the counties are Bomi, Bong, Gbarpolu, Grand Bassa, Grand Cape Mount, Grand Geden, Grand Kru, Lofa, Margibi, Maryland, Montserrado, Nimba, Rivercess, River Gee, and Sinoe. It was further subdivided into cities, municipalities, towns, and villages.

Water Area

Liberia has major sources of water including groundwater, lakes, rainwater, rivers, snow, soil moisture springs, streams, water, waterfall, wetlands, etc. Liberia has only one reservoir and a few water bodies. Some water bodies have developed as tourist spots. Many water bodies are small in area and contain a minimum volume of water. Most of these water bodies are fresh water and very few are salt lakes.

Mountains

Liberia contains more than 200 named mountains. The highest peak and the most prominent mountain is Mount Wuteve which is about 1,440 meters (4,751 feet). The other major mountains in Liberia are Mount Alpha, Mount Nuon-Fa, Mount Tokpa, Yulitohn, Gangra, Boyeboye Mountain, Gleton, Mount Balagizi, Tokade, Gini Mountain, Billi, Bea Mountain, Bulleton, Swa Mountain, etc.
