Chad Postal Code

Chad officially known as the Republic of Chad is a landlocked country located in North and Central Africa. It is bordered by Libya on the north, Sudan on the east, the Central African Republic on the south, Cameroon on the southwest, Nigeria on the southwest, and Niger on the west. N’Djamena is the capital and the largest city of Chad. The other major cities and towns in Chad are Moundou, Sarh, Abeche, Kelo, Koumra, Pala, Am Timan, Mongo, Bongor, Zouar, Oum Hadjer, Melfi, Mao, Iriba, Koro Toro, etc.

The official languages of the country in Chad are Arabic and French. Water Area

Chad has major sources of water including groundwater, lakes, rainwater, rivers, snow, soil moisture springs, streams, water, waterfall, wetlands, etc. Chad has more than 18 lakes and a few water bodies. Some water bodies have developed as tourist spots. Many water bodies are small in area and contain a minimum volume of water. Most of these water bodies are fresh water and very few are salt lakes.

Mountains

Chad contains more than 1,728 named mountains. The highest peak and the most prominent mountain is Emi Koussi which is about 3,445 meters (11,302 feet). The other major mountains in Chad are Tousside, Tarso Ahon, Mouskorbe, Tarso Koubeur, Kegueur Tegi, Ehi Doma, Ehi Doma, Ehi Orom, Tarso Tieroko, Tarso Emissi, Mont Guerra, Goudoumou, Guedi, Ehi Kodoss, etc.
